Travel Money SAS, a company incorporated under the laws of France, with registered office at 14 rue Charles V, 75004 Paris, France ("TravelMoney", "we", "us", or "our").

2. Our Services

2.1 Travel Money provides digital and physical services ("Services") that enables customers outside the European Union to purchase eligible goods from European retailers under EU VAT-exempt export rules, without traveling.

2.2 Travel Money sources goods directly from European retailers, arranges export and international shipping, and delivers goods to an international address designated by you.

2.3 These Services are commonly referred to as "Tax-Free Shopping From Home."

3. Contractual Structure

3.1 Buyer of record

Travel Money is the buyer of record for all purchases made through the Services.

3.2 Resale to you

After sourcing the goods, Travel Money resells the goods to you as the end customer under these Terms.

3.3 No agency relationship

You do not act as Travel Money's agent, exporter, or representative. Travel Money controls the purchase, export, and shipping process.

4. Eligibility

To use the Services, you must:

• be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction);
• reside outside the European Union;
• purchase goods for personal, non-commercial use;
• provide a valid international delivery address;
• comply with import laws in your destination country.

5. How Tax-Free Shopping From Home Works

5.1 You identify a product offered by a European retailer and submit the product details via the Travel Money app, website, browser extension, or other supported platform.

5.2 Travel Money reviews eligibility, availability, brand restrictions, export controls, and customs requirements.

5.3 If eligible, Travel Money:

• purchases the goods from the retailer;
• applies VAT-exempt export treatment where legally permitted;
• arranges international shipping and export documentation;
• delivers the goods to your designated address.

5.4 You are not required to travel, present a passport, file VAT refund forms, or obtain customs stamps, but may be required to in certain circumstances. Travel Money will inform you should this be the case.

6. Pricing, Savings & Fees

6.1 Final price

Your final price includes:

• the cost of the goods;
• shipping and logistics;
• customs duties, tariffs, and import taxes (where applicable);
• TravelMoney service fees.

No additional customs charges are due upon delivery under normal circumstances.

6.2 Savings representation

Travel Money guarantees a minimum 10% savings compared to the retail price of the identical product in your home market, subject to availability and eligibility.

6.3 Savings calculation

Savings are calculated by comparing:

• the local retail price of the identical product in your home market;
• plus VAT savings passed through by TravelMoney;
• minus shipping, duties, taxes, tariffs, and service fees.

6.4 Maximum savings

Savings may reach up to 40% depending on product category, VAT rate, shipping destination, and local market pricing. Maximum savings are not guaranteed.

6.5 Informational nature

All savings examples are illustrative. Actual savings may vary.

7. Taxes, Duties & Customs

7.1 You do not pay EU VAT upfront.

7.2 Travel Money applies VAT-exempt export treatment where legally available and passes resulting savings through pricing.

7.3 Customs clearance in your destination country is handled by the carrier and local authorities. TravelMoney prepares export documentation but cannot control clearance decisions.

7.4 In rare cases, customs authorities may request additional information from you. You agree to cooperate promptly.

8. Eligible and Restricted Goods

8.1 Eligible goods generally include physical consumer products such as:

• luxury fashion and accessories;
• leather goods;
• jewelry and watches;
• clothing and footwear;
• beauty and cosmetic products;
• electronics.

8.2 Certain goods may be restricted or excluded due to:

• export controls;
• customs regulations;
• brand or retailer restrictions;
• materials subject to international treaties (e.g., exotic skins).

8.3 Travel Money reserves the right to decline any order that cannot be fulfilled legally or commercially.

9. Order Confirmation & Cancellation

9.1 Orders are not final until confirmed by Travel Money.

9.2 If an item cannot be sourced or exported tax-free, Travel Money will notify you and either:

• propose alternatives; or
• cancel the order and issue a refund.

10. Delivery

10.1 Delivery times are estimates only.

10.2 Risk of loss transfers to you upon delivery.

10.3 TravelMoney is not responsible for delays caused by customs, carriers, force majeure, or regulatory authorities.

11. Returns & Refunds

11.1 Due to the cross-border, customized nature of the Services, returns are generally not accepted, except where required by mandatory consumer protection law.

11.2 Refunds may be issued if an order cannot be fulfilled.

12. Personal Data & Privacy

12.1 Personal data is processed in accordance with GDPR and applicable laws.

12.2 Travel Money processes personal data to provide the Services, comply with legal obligations, prevent fraud, and improve the platform.

13. Liability

13.1 Travel Money is liable for foreseeable loss caused by its breach of these Terms.

13.2 We do not exclude liability where prohibited by law.

13.3 We are not responsible for:

• acts of customs or regulatory authorities;
• brand or retailer refusals;
• changes in law or tax treatment.

14. Intellectual Property

All content, trademarks, and software belong to Travel Money or its licensors.

15. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by French law. Mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence remain unaffected.

16. Final Provisions

16.1 These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Travel Money.
